Drilling & Punching

  • We are able to drill holes to your specification up to a maximum diameter of 40mm depending on the section or material.
  • General tolerance ±1.0mm.

Plough Grinding

  • Tolerances on thickness of ±0.25mm.
  • Items up to 1830mm diameter can be ground.

Heat Treatment

  • We frequently supply customers with material in various heat treated conditions including normalised, annealed, stress relieved and hardened steel.
  • Maximum Sheet and Plate Capacity is Length: 1365mm x Width: 1070mm x Height: 900mm

Plate forming

  • Brake presses that can form steel sheet and plate in a range of thicknesses up to 8000mm long (maximum currently 15mm plate thickness x 1500mm long)
  • Maximum Sheet and Plate Capacity: 8000mm Length
  • General tolerance ±0.5°

Shearing

  • Cutting capacity in mild steel of up to 4000mm x 15mm
  • general tolerance of 2mm

Flamecutting Facilities

  • Four CNC flamecut profile machines
  • Each machine fed with digital information from our CADCAM workstations through a DNC link
  • Systems optimise plate usage, thus reducing scrap and cutting time making our service both quick and economical
  • General plate size is 5000mm x 2500mm although larger plates up to 10000mm x 2500mm can be used to accommodate larger components
  • Maximum plate thickness is 150mm
  • General tolerance ±2.0mm
