What Are Parts & Lists?

If you find yourself frequently ordering the same products or want to be able to be able to save a products in a group (such as a selection of components used for manufacturing a particular product) then Parts and Lists are for you. Parts allow you to save a products size, cutting lengths, finishes and packaging options all under a personalised part name. Lists are a collection of Parts in an easy to order package. For example, if you are building a set of 3 bedroom houses you can create a list of all the beams, columns, rebar and fittings required to build one of the houses. Then you can easily add multiples of this to your basket or order as and when you require them without the need of retyping in all of the measurements and options.

What You Need Before You Start

• To be logged into your web account - if you aren't registered click the 'Register' button at the top of the page.

Create A Part

1. Navigate to the product you wish to use. 2. Select the size and options you require. 3. Create a Part Number - this is not limited to just numbers. 4. Either click the Add to Basket Button to save the Part or click the Add To List + icon to save it to a new or existing list.

Create A List

1. Create a Part, as explained above. 2. Click the Add To List + icon. 3. A pop-up will be displayed allowing you to either add the part to an existing list or create a new list. To crete a new list type in a name in the text box and click the Add to List button.

View My Lists via Products

1. Ensure you are logged into the website. 2. Once on a product page click the My Lists tab. 3. Use the drop-down box to select the list you would like to view. 4. From here you can either add the entire contents of the list to your basket using the Add All Items to Basket button or add individual parts by clicking on the shopping basket icon to the right hand side of the table.

View My Lists via My ParkerSteel

1. Ensure you are logged into the website. 2. Click on the 'Your name'ParkerSteel button in the main navigation at the top of the page. 3. Click on the My Documents, List & Parts tile button. 4. Click on the My Lists tab. 5. From here you can add all the contents of the list to your basket using the Add List to Basket button, add individual parts to your basket by clicking the shopping cart icon next to the relevant part, edit the list or a part by clicking on the pen icon, delete a part by clicking the X icon, duplicate the list by clicking on the Duplicate List button or delete the list by clicking on the Delete List button.

1. Ensure you are logged into the website. 2. Click on the 'Your name'ParkerSteel button in the main navigation at the top of the page. 3. Click on the My Documents, List & Parts tile button. 4. Click on the My Parts tab. 5. From here you can add parts to your basket by entering a quantity and clicking the shopping cart icon next to the relevant part, add a part to a list by clicking on the list icon or delete a part by clicking the X icon.
