Fast and Efficient

Our six turbine shotblasters, represent a huge investment to the company and has revolutionized the speed at which we can shotblast and prime steel. In just 15-20 minutes we can fully shotblast and paint a 15 metre beam. Four automated spray guns are used for paint spraying, sensors are used to eliminate spraying from one or both flanges of a beam as required.

Shotblasting

All material is shotblasted to a required standard with an S330 graded shot and to a SA 2½ grade surface finish. Once we are satisfied with the result, the metal is primed using our 4 automated spray guns and quickly dried for that final smooth touch.

Priming

A primer designed for metal is still highly recommended if a part is to be exposed to moisture. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted.
