ViroGuard Hand Sanitiser contains a blend of amphoteric surfactants and conditioning agents in addition to the following active ingredients, Didecyldimethylammonium Chloride (CAS: 7173-51-5)and Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CAS: 55-56-1)
The active ingredients contained within ViroGuard have a broad antimicrobial efficacy against grampositive and gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, and enveloped viruses (e.g. Hepatitis B, HIV, Coronavirus). The active ingredients maintain a high antimicrobial efficacy even at low temperatures.
Frequent & regular usage of hand sanitisers can cause skin to dry out due to a degreasing effect, however alcohol-free sanitisers such as ViroGuard Hand Sanitiser minimise the effects of this.
The additional benefit of quaternary ammonium compound-based hand sanitisers such as ViroGuard over alcohol-based products is that cuts, grazes & areas of chapped skin do not sting on application.
The product is fragrance free avoiding the risk of allergic reaction & skin irritation that some fragrances & perfumes can lead to. The alcohol-free formulation of the product offers a mild & pleasant odour when compared with alcohol-based preparations.
